Professor Tim Flannery is one of Australia’s leading voices on climate change. An internationally acclaimed scientist, explorer, conservationist and inspiring community leader.  In 2005 he was named Australian Humanist of the Year and in 2007 Australian of the Year. In 2007 he co-founded and was appointed Chair of the Copenhagen Climate Council. In 2011 he became Australia’s Chief Climate Commissioner, and in 2013 he founded the Australian Climate Council.

A well known media personality, he has hosted numerous TV series, including The Future Eaters (1998), Wild Australasia (2003), Islands in the Sky (1992) and Bushfire (1997), ABC’s Two in a Tinnie series (2000-2011), and Foxtel’s Coast Australia series (2013-2-16). His books include the global best seller The Weather Makers (2005) and most recently Sunlight and Seaweed (2017).
